Custodial Death Reports

The Office of Independent Review (OIR) conducts independent reviews of all custodial deaths that have occurred since 2022. Below, you will find links to custodial death reports organized by year. These reports include findings from both the Orange County District Attorney's Office and the OIR. Please note that some investigations are still ongoing, and certain reports are pending and under review.
